What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk (Part-time) position at Missouri Ozarks Community Action?
1. Responsible for verifying accuracy of data entry for vendor and client payments and printing checks.
2. Responsible for processing Housing rent checks on the 1st working day of each month.
3. Writing up vouchers, reconciles monthly statements with invoices, make sure all invoices/statements are received and paid in a timely manner. Vouchers without allocation. (Someone else will review)
4. Audit vendor files for accuracy for data entered into MIP and supporting documentation.
5. Responsible for checking in-kind for accuracy, allow ability and necessary for program operation and entering into system.
6. Review payment vouchers for technical accuracy, conformance to policy and backup documentation and get appropriate signatures. (Ones not done by you)
7. Assist with reviewing data entered into payroll system.
8. Assist with reviewing reports to funding sources and cash transfers.
9. Assist with preparing vendor checks for mailing; attach copies of checks to vouchers.
10. Assist with keeping track of AHCC Co-Payments, maintain database and make sure matches MIP Accounting software and maintain copies.
11. Assists Finance Director in day to day operation of the Accounting Department.
12. Responsible for assuring confidentiality of all aspects of this job to which you become privy.
13. Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or needed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.14 - $16.15 per hour
