Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. This role is essential in fostering the development of young minds through effective communication, classroom management, and tailored educational practices.
Responsibilities
- Assists with child recruitment.
- Assists in identifying and recruiting prospective families and volunteers for Head Start.
- Assist with recruiting, training and directing activities of volunteers.
- Assists with parent, families and community in obtaining in-kind contributions for the center.
- Participates in staff meetings, or obtain meeting information, and attends trainings as needed.
- Participates in the annual self-assessment process.
- Shares janitorial responsibility duties on site/center for the purpose of maintaining a clean, safe working
- environment inside and out for all.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned or needed.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.68 - $14.90 per hour
