Billing Clerk/Receptionist – Full-Time Position
The City of Luverne is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join our team as a Billing Clerk/Receptionist. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic office environment, providing excellent service to utility customers while managing the full utility billing process. As the first point of contact for city-related functions, you will play a key role in our community’s daily operations.
Qualifications:
✅ Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least two courses in accounting or bookkeeping OR two years of experience in account billing/accounts payable.
✅ Preferred: Associate degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience with automated accounting systems and public engagement is highly desirable.
