Due to retirement, the Denison Municipal Utilities (DMU), a supplier of electricity, water and wastewater services in Denison, Iowa, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of General Manager. Candidates must possess exceptional communication, interpersonal and leadership skills, and have a personal commitment to providing excellent customer service. The General Manager reports to the five person Board of Trustees and is responsible for carrying out the Board policy and directives.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years experience in the utility industry. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree with a major in Business or Public Administration or Engineering is preferred but not required.
Salary and benefits will be competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
