Job Summary
We seek a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to support an eighteen-year-old individual with cerebral palsy needing assistance with daily living activities inside his home. The ideal candidate will have a loving personality and willingness to help others with whatever is needed. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for this individual by ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Duties
- Assist the client with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and record clients' health status and report any changes to family members.
- Help client with mobility and transportation needs, ensuring safe movement within his living environment.
- Maintain a clean and safe living space for the client by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support the client in following prescribed care plans developed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with clients' family members who work together in the home.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- CPR Certification (can be attained once hired)
- Must pass a background check
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
Schedule:
- Evening shift

- Currently, open shifts include Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and two Saturdays a month. Other shifts may be available as well.
