6:45 am - 1:15 pm | Every other Saturday & Sunday
RESPONSIBLE TO
Director of Assisted Living
PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION
To set up and serve continental breakfast and noon meal.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS and REQUIREMENTS
- Assist tenants during continental breakfast and dinner (noon) meals.
- Bus and clean tables for breakfast and dinner.
- Clean up Nutrition Center and restock items.
- Serve coffee, juice and salads prior to dinner meal.
- Must be an emotionally stable and mature adult.
- Should be flexible and be able to adapt to changes in procedures, willing to accept changes in hours and assignments as the need arises.
- Must have the ability to exhibit patience and be a caring person.
- Must be able to work with or without supervision and be willing and able to accept constructive criticism.
- Must be able to cooperate and work together with co-workers as a member of the team and not be disruptive to the working environment.
- Personal appearance must be neat and clean with good personal hygiene. Must be willing to follow established dress code including the wearing of nametag at all times.
- Must be punctual and dependable with attendance as scheduled.
- This position requires good hearing acuity and the ability to read, write, understand and speak the English language well enough to communicate effectively with tenants and coworkers, as well as receive oral and/or written instruction.
- Safety precautions will be learned and followed. Will be responsible for adhering to safety policies and procedures established to protect the tenants and employees from unnecessary harm and injury.
- Will be responsible for adhering to infection control policies and procedures including proper hand washing, gloving and the use of personal protective devices.
WORKING CONDITIONS
A well-lighted and well-ventilated 64-apartment retirement community on 2 levels with carpeted
and vinyl floors.

- Prior experience in a customer service industry preferred.
- CPR certified preferred
- Successfully pass a drug test, background check, including criminal history, certification registries, and employment history
- Completion of training as required by Missouri Slope
