The Chemical and Physical Sciences Department at MSSU is currently seeking candidates for a tenure track Assistant Professor Position in Organic Chemistry starting August 2025 in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach general chemistry, organic chemistry, and biochemistry courses. Other specialty areas of study may be acceptable.
The position requires demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and advising at the undergraduate level. A Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry or Biochemistry, or a related field is preferred; however, candidates who are ABD will be considered.
