Visiting Assitant Professor of Spanish

MSSU seeks candidates for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Language and Literature starting August 2024 in Joplin, Missouri. Successful candidates should be prepared to teach twelve credits of Spanish language courses per semester. Experience teaching hybrid or online courses and experience teaching Spanish for the professions are preferred. Specialization is open.

The position requires a demonstrated commitment to teaching at the undergraduate level. A Ph.D. in Spanish, or a related field is preferred; however, ABD candidates and those holding master’s degrees will be considered.
