POSITION AVAILABLE: Temporary Professional
SALARY RANGE (semi-monthly): The minimum starting salary for a Temporary Professional is $16.84 hourly; however, salary may be commensurate with experience.
OFFICIAL DOMICILE: Jefferson City, Missouri
POSITION DESCRIPTION: This position responds to requests and assists with answering division telephones, presenting tours in the safety center, and assisting as needed within the Public Information and Education Division (PIED). Requests are generally for retirement memorabilia, awards certificates, employee ID cards, or assist with answering the division phones, presenting tours, and various administrative duties within PIED. This position is classified as non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act. This position is approved for 1,000 hours of work during a 12-month period.

Some Patrol duties relate to criminal activity. Therefore, employees may be exposed to written material, photographs, and/or verbal language of a sexual nature. The requirements of this position are not intended to create a hostile work environment; however, it is work of an extremely sensitive nature. To be eligible for employment with the Patrol, applicants must meet all dress and appearance requirements.
