Description of Primary Duties
The successful candidate will primarily teach undergraduate-level courses in Strategic Management and Entrepreneurship; other teaching assignments may be at the undergraduate or graduate level in management-related classes Principles of Management). The standard teaching load is 9 hours per semester (three courses). Candidates must maintain an active research agenda and meet university service requirements.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
The minimum acceptable qualifications for the position of Assistant Professor are prescribed in the Faculty Handbook. Additional Qualifications
Successful candidates will hold a in Management or Business Administration from an AACSB-accredited institution with an emphasis in strategic management, entrepreneurship, or a related discipline. Candidates who are ABD at the time of application will also be considered if in a position to complete their degree no later than the start date. Candidates must be able to publish in peer-reviewed management journals and have experience teaching at the undergraduate and / or graduate levels. Candidates must satisfy AACSB requirements to achieve and / or maintain Scholarly Academic status. Candidates must be committed to working for the professional success of students.
