Description of Primary Duties
Could include all or some of the following: customer service, cash handling, creating displays, text book services, answering phones/emails, answering bookstore questions, and other duties associated with retail employment.
Required Qualifications
Customer Service and/or retail (not fast food) experience is preferred but not required. Computer experience is helpful but not required. IT/software knowledge helpful but not required. Marketing, design, graphic design, social networking/marketing a plus but not required. Cash register experience preferred but not required.

THIS IS A GENERAL OPEN POSTING FOR THE Summer and Fall semester. Bookstore department managers have positions with very specific time availability needs open at this time. If applying for a SUMMER opportunity, PLEASE LIST ALL TIMES YOU CAN WORK EVERY DAY AFTER YOU HAVE REGISTERED FOR CLASSES. Applications that list availability will be considered before those that do not. Managers or their supervisors will contact any applicants that they are interested in for interview from the information listed on the application.
You may be contacted by a hiring bookstore manager for interview based primarily on your availability. Unfortunately, we will not be able to respond to all applicants directly due to the volume of applicants.
