Job Description
With oversight from the Director of Annual Giving, the Engagement Center Manager plays a pivotal role in managing a comprehensive engagement, solicitation, and stewardship program within the Division of University Advancement. This position oversees the day-to-day operations of the Engagement Center, supervising a team of up to 20 student employees to employ best practices in building lasting relationships with alumni and increasing annual giving for the university.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the recruitment, onboarding, training, and supervision of student employees, ensuring adherence to university standards and budget management
- Build a student-centric program that allows student employees opportunities for professional development, and an understanding of how their role and work fits into the larger scope of the Division of University Advancement and the University's Strategic Plan
- Supervise telefund operations to effectively solicit and steward alumni donors, grow revenue and build relationships between annual giving alumni donors and the university, strengthening donor acquisition and pipeline development
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance engagement initiatives through promoting the center to campus leaders, segmenting data, creating and executing engagement and social media calendars
- Track and analyze performance data to report program evaluations and provide recommendations to the Director of Annual Giving and other division leaders.
- Collaborate with department chairs and other university partners to provide fundraising updates, involve them in strategic solicitation efforts, and gather departmental news for alumni engagement
- Collaborate with internal and external vendors to optimize center operations
- Maintain some evening and weekend hours while the Engagement Center is in operation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $52,223 to $73,008 annually
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
