Mining & Explosives Engineering Department
- Work under the Director and Associate Director of the MERIT Center to support the CDC-NIOSH Programs
- Provide administrative support to faculty, post-doctoral fellows, and graduate researchers in the MERIT Center
- Provide clerical duties within The MERIT Center
- Assist researchers in the preparations and follow-ups on laboratory equipment and other orders
- Facilitate on-campus, out-of-campus meetings, and conferences by researchers in The MERIT Center
- Assist the Director in generating periodic reports for CDC-NIOSH
- Check with the Sponsored Programs on compliance issues
- Work with pre- and post-awards on existing and new proposals submissions
- Prepare financial report summaries for The MERIT Center meetings
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary
Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience or Associate's degree with 5 years of experience.
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as $15.00 to $19.34 hourly.
Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements.
