Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Post Doctoral Fellow at Missouri S&T. The Post Doctoral Fellow will be responsible for conducting computational quantum chemistry research, analyzing data, writing manuscripts for publication in scientific journals. The role may involve collaborating with other research groups as well as assisting with the supervision and training of graduate and undergraduate students.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or closely related field
- Strong track record of writing manuscripts for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Research experience in computational quantum chemistry
- Experience with popular electronic structure theory software packages
- Experience with one or more common scripting/programming languages for scientific research
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a research environment
