Responsibilities
- Monitor daily expenses and manage general ledger expense detail.
- Prepare and maintain annual budgets by forecasting fixed and variable expenses.
- Produce timely budget vs. actual expense reports for management and campus wide departments.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Process payroll and manage employee benefits administration.
- Maintain employee records and ensure all HR policies are up-to-date and compliant.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters and foster a positive workplace culture.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, human resources or related field.
- Preferred experience as an accountant or HR specialist.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and HR practices.
- Familiarity with accounting software and HR management systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
