Job Summary
Working with the Director of Assessment and Accreditation, the research assistant will learn skills in : researching and summarizing literature reviews, documenting and summarizing research findings, fundamental project management, producing materials for project meetings, and developing and distributing a newsletter.
Work dates expected to be : 09-06-2024 to 05-02-2025
Essential Duties
The research assistant will :
- Practice researching and summarizing published materials related to curricular and co-curricular assessment practices and trends in higher education.
- Practice researching and summarizing published materials related to University accreditation through the Higher Learning Commission.
- Practice producing an internal newsletter with varied audiences
- Practice developing materials and preparation for project meetings
- Practice developing and implementing long and short-term projects

Physical Demands
Sedentary Work : Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
