TITLE: MOONGATE LOUNGE HOST
Compensation: hourly rate, service fee / tip pool points
Moongate Lounge, the cocktail bar above Michelin-starred Mister Jiu's, is seeking an experienced host.
We are seeking a spirited individual who is dedicated high service standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high volume setting in an environment that promotes positive reinforcement.

Education and Experience
1 year of experience in a high-volume bar, with high service standards.
Time Commitment
- Availability to work service shifts Tuesday - Saturday
- Hours: 5 PM-11 PM or 12 AM
Responsibilities include and not limited to (subject to change upon verbal and written notice):
Host Responsibilities Summarized:
- Greet and Seat Guests
- Manage the reservations for the night (seat parties on time, communicate with manager and servers on special notes/guests and upcoming reservations)
- Make reservations for guests
- Set and Clear Tables
- Assist the dining room in clearing trays of glassware etc.
- Make reservations for guests
- Answer the phone and assist with guest questions etc.
- Set up the front of the restaurant for service
- Sweep entry/Polish glass
- Maintain a tidy host stand (menus organized, everything in its place, ipad and phone charging)
- Maintain restrooms (set up pre-service, check during service, keep supply cabinet stocked)
Salary : $19
