Your Role
As the Manager of Safety Administration, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. You will oversee safety policies, conduct audits, and promote a culture of safety throughout the organization. Working closely with management, employees, and regulatory agencies, you will develop and implement safety programs to reduce workplace risks. Your expertise will contribute to accident prevention, safety training, and compliance reporting. This role requires a balance of human resources knowledge and safety compliance expertise to create a safe and productive work environment.
What Do You Bring?
Our client is looking for a safety-focused professional with at least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing, maritime, or heavy industrial setting. A Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering, or a related field is required. You should have a strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and industry safety standards and experience conducting audits, risk assessments, and employee training. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Certifications such as OSHA 10/30-Hour and First Aid/CPR are preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and safety management software is a plus.
