Your Role:

As an Electrician at Mister Sparky, you will be a key player in delivering top-tier electrical services to our customers. From repairs to installations, you’ll ensure every job is completed with precision, safety, and a focus on customer satisfaction. You must have great customer service skills—ensuring every interaction leaves customers feeling valued and informed. You’ll also play an important role in educating customers about potential upgrades to their electrical systems when necessary, helping them make informed decisions about enhancing their home’s safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional electrical services, ensuring customer satisfaction in every interaction.
• Perform electrical repairs, installations, and troubleshooting with attention to detail and high standards.
• Educate customers on necessary upgrades to their electrical systems, explaining the benefits and value of improvements in a way they can understand.
• Help customers make informed decisions by offering clear, transparent, and customer-friendly explanations of available upgrade options.
• Communicate clearly with customers, management, and dispatch to ensure seamless operations.
• Deliver accurate estimates and complete jobs on time and within budget.
• Maintain an organized, clean work environment and report any safety concerns or faulty equipment.
• Follow national and local electrical codes to ensure compliance and safety on every job.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven Experience: Residential electrical experience is preferred, but we’re open to all candidates with commercial experience.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, wiring, and safety practices.
• Customer Service Excellence: Must have exceptional customer service experience, with the ability to engage, educate, and guide customers through any necessary decisions—especially when it comes to recommending system upgrades.
• Clean Driving Record: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.
• Clearance: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Commitment to Safety: Familiarity with safety protocols and dedication to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex electrical issues and upgrade options in a customer-friendly manner.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work flexible hours, including occasional on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
