From day ONE, you’ll operate out of an advanced fleet designed for efficiency and comfort. Each electrician gets a freshly wrapped van with cushioned flooring, premium lighting, advanced shelving, and custom cabinets. The van features a partition to keep your tools organized. With spacious high roof, you’ll have room to move freely, making every mission easier. Our electricians also have a trained dispatch team to maximize your schedule, ensuring smooth communication and focus on top-notch service. Mister Sparky values taking care of our electricians, expanding your earnings and empowering growth. We also host "Lunch and Learns" offering mentorship on life skills like credit scores, buying homes, and more!
Position Summary:
As a Journeyman Licensed Electrician, you will manage residential electrical projects, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction. With our new compensation structure, your earning potential increases with your skills and experience. You will work with advanced electrical technology, AI access, and receive ongoing hands-on training.
As a Journeyman Licensed Electrician, you will manage residential electrical projects, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and customer satisfaction. With our new compensation structure, your earning potential increases with your skills and experience. You will work with advanced electrical technology, AI access, and receive ongoing hands-on training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, repair, and maintenance of residential electrical equipment and services
- Determines general condition of all electrical equipment, can troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, and determine the extent of necessary repairs
- Works with and understands blueprints, electrical schematics and job specifications as it applies to your craft
- Submit clear work orders and document tasks with pictures
- Identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects
- Use the Straight Forward Pricing Guide, accurately present repair or installation options, and complete safety inspections
- Install and repair electrical equipment, lighting fixtures, EV chargers
- Perform routine electrical system maintenance, upgrades, and tune-ups.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and inventory
- Maintain company-provided vehicle, fuel, and tablets
Qualifications:
- Must have a Texas Electrical Journeyman or Residential Wireman license.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively to clients about issues and provide accurate solutions.
- Experience as a Journeyman Electrician in Residential Services.
- Availability for some nights and weekends (rotating schedule).
