The Records Management Clerk will focus on implementing a structured filing system, scanning and categorizing documents, and ensuring proper record retention practices. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, technologically proficient, and capable of working independently. This temporary (Up to 1 Year) contract position has the potential to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs. Benefits are negotiable.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES :
- Review, organize, and categorize existing physical records into a structured filing system.
- Develop and implement a standardized records management system for easy retrieval and long-term storage.
- Scan and digitize paper documents while ensuring image quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a consistent file-naming convention and indexing system for digital records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and best practices for document retention and security.
- Identify and properly dispose of outdated or unnecessary files in accordance with retention policies.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and document management software to catalog and track records.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- Input data in a timely and accurate manner into a specialized software program.
- Performs support tasks such as organizing forms; photocopies; files; orders
- Utilizes computerized data entry equipment and various word processing, spreadsheet, and file maintenance programs to enter, store, and / or retrieve information as requested or otherwise necessary and summarizes data in preparation of standardized reports.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Pay : $18-$20 per hour. Benefits are negotiable.
Duration : Temporary (Up to 1 year) – Potential for permanent placement.
Location : On-site in Jacksonville, FL.
Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7am-4pm.
