The Inside Sales Specialist leverages CAD / engineering knowledge, a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and a penchant for sales to generate new business and engage existing customers to understand their needs and provide customized solutions in the configurable parts / components space. You will :
- Manage a large portfolio of existing and new customers' accounts covering a full sales cycle from lead qualifications to working on engineering design proposals.
- Prospect, educate and qualify leads to create sales-ready opportunities via phone, email and other channels.
- Works with targeted companies to identify key contacts, uncover and create opportunities to drive growth of the sales funnel; relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Make phone and online sales presentations to prospective customers communicating a complete understanding of the meviy solution within MISUMI.
- Review customer 2D drawings and 3D models, resolve any discrepancies, and identify callouts or specifications that require manufacturing expertise or attention.
- Communicate with customers including design engineers, mechanical engineers, buyers or other engineering and technical personnel at customers to resolve discrepancies between their needs, the capabilities of meviy and driving towards a successful outcome for customers.
- Learn and follow our Customer Relationship Management processes and use Salesforce to document your interactions with prospects.
- Other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager.
- A technical Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience and prior experience with CAD.
- Minimum 2-3 years of B2B Industrial automation inside sales experience with manufactured parts and components.
- Proven record of satisfying customer needs while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
- Experience in outbound calling to prospect for new business.
- Excellent customer service skills (verbal and written).
- Requires a self-motivated individual with an enthusiastic phone personality
- Good communications at all levels with excellent consultative selling skills.
- Working knowledge of contact resource management systems and Salesforce specifically is desirable.
- Working knowledge of 3D CAD, or Capable of learning basic 3DCAD operation is required.
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
Pay Rate : 50-60k plus incentive
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location and prevailing minimum wage, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
