What will you do?
Join a team of security professionals that are driven to solve complex security problems in collaboration with Laboratory research teams and Government counterparts across the following industrial security areas:
- Intelligence: Conduct regular monitoring of open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and other informational gathering tools for known and potential threats to employees, and the Laboratory.
- Investigation Support: Assist in conducting various types of investigations, ranging from classified material administrative inquiries, theft of property, vandalism, workplace violence and other investigations as required.
- Counterintelligence: Conduct research to support the counterintelligence program, create/develop/analyze intelligence information reports, prepare briefings and assist in debriefings.
- Insider Threat: Support the Insider Threat program by utilizing internal and external systems and information to identify risks which could adversely impact the Laboratory
- Security Education, Training and Awareness: Assist in the protection of research and technology by creating briefings to educate Laboratory personnel on Insider Threat indicators, Operations Security, international travel and defense against espionage
- Partnerships: Support the Investigations office partnership with Federal Law Enforcement, to include the FBI, HSI, Air Force OSI, NCIS, DoD, and intelligence agencies on all matters related to counterintelligence, suspicious activity and potential threats to the security posture of the Laboratory

What you need/Requirement:
To work with MITLL, all employees must meet certain basic requirements.
- Bachelor’s Degree or qualifying military experience in an intelligence position can be used in lieu of a degree
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Successfully pass a background check
Ideally, you will have:
The Laboratory values experiences from diverse backgrounds and occupations. The most successful candidates will have the following skills and qualifications.
- Regulatory compliance experience: The ability to read, understand and apply government regulation, policies and procedure, (NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117, applicable ICDs, etc.).
- Valued competencies: Interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
- Computer skills: Familiarity with security management software, such as SIMS and government databases such as DISS (Defense Information Security System). Knowledge of business software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office, etc.
- Flexibility: Comfortable responding to off-hours emergencies and local/overnight travel as needed (infrequent, but a possibility).
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Industrial Security, or related field required with professional or military training in a classified environment
- Experience as an intelligence analyst preparing / presenting briefings, using established intelligence techniques to analyze data from a variety of sources, conducting open source research, preparing reports, and delivering briefings
- Minimum 3 years of security administration to include as an intelligence analyst in the military, law enforcement or within a DoD Industrial Security environment
