What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent/Office Assistant position at Mitcham Group?
Local Property Management Company Seeking a Leasing Agent / Office Assistant. Tasks include the following:
*Answer phone calls.
* Check e-mail daily and follow up.
* Use AppFolio software to process tenant applications and lease available units.
* Perform inspections (including general inspections of rented units, move-out inspections, and final inspections when units are ready to view)
*Drafting letters and other notices.
*General computer work and filing.
*Run errands and deliver notices as needed.
* Keep front office clean and smelling good. Sweep floors and take out trash weekly.
* Take care of tenant complaints – Try to resolve before passing off to Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.
* On Call every other week for after-hours emergencies (only requires monitoring phone & follow up w/ tenants or maintenance staff)
* Keep track of tenant reviews online and work to create more positive ones.
*Assist manager with interview schedule for new staff – call applicants to confirm interviews, print resumes, etc.
* Enter work orders as detailed as possible. Review online work orders to make sure they are not duplicates and they are actual maintenance issues and not complaints, suggestions etc. Review, remove, and file work orders once completed.
* Learn Appfolio – Do online tutorials once per day to get more skills.
* Assist Manager, Maintence Supervisor, and Maintenance staff as needed.
* The assistant reports directly to the Office Manager.
*Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Mon. - Fri.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour
