Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Commercial Cleaning Employee to join our team. This entrylevel position is ideal for individuals with minimal to no prior experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of commercial spaces, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and clients. A high school diploma or GED is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- General Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.

- Sanitization: Disinfect and sanitize high

-touch surfaces, restrooms, and common areas according to company standards.

- Trash Removal: Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste. - Cleaning Equipment: Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and efficient manner.

- Reporting Issues: Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor or facility manager.

- Restroom Maintenance: Ensure restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

- Special Requests: Assist with special cleaning tasks as requested by management, including periodic deep cleaning and floor maintenance.

Qualifications:

- Education: High school diploma or GED required.

- Experience: No prior experience necessary; on-the-job training will be provided.

- Skills: - Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and procedures is a plus but not required.

- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.

- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

- Good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).

- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.

- Ability to work in various environments, including those that may be dusty or involve exposure to cleaning chemicals.
