Mitchell College offers an exciting opportunity for a part-time faculty member who would like to be involved in a collaborative, forward-looking business program. We seek to hire part-time (adjunct) faculty with a focus on finance & accounting. Courses are taught 100% on campus in New London and scheduled during the work week (day and early evening classes) on a Monday/Thursday or Tuesday/Friday schedule.
Required Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience, ideally in a financial management or senior level accounting role
- Some experience teaching in higher education would be an advantage.
Key Skills / Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Moodle LMS or other online teaching & learning platform would be an advantage
- Passion for teaching, and for working with diverse learners.
