ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Representative to join our team. The Account Representative will be responsible for managing and growing customer accounts within the region. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
Assigned Tasks:
- Delivery
- Put up delivered product. rotate stock, fill shelves, face product per guidelines.
- Ensure all areas containing our products are maintained properly, organized and clean.
- Frequent lifting of up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Ability to walk, reach overhead, stoop and bend.
- Merchandising
- Build displays.
- Ensure required point of sale materials are displayed properly.
- Ensure shelf tags, signage, and points of distribution for all products are in place.
- Sales
- Take inventory of product in store.
- Sell-in products per guidelines, promotions, specials, points of distribution, etc.
- Place order for account.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts in the assigned region.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within customer organizations.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are being met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and customer interactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- 2 years of experience in sales or account management.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
