DAY SHIFT WAREHOUSE FORKLIFT JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking, forklift operator to join our team. As a Warehouse Loader, your main responsibility will be to efficiently and accurately load and unload shipments in our warehouse while operating a forklift. You will be responsible for organizing inventory, checking orders for accuracy, and ensuring that all items are properly secured for transport.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload shipments of products from delivery trucks.
- Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Organize and maintain inventory in the warehouse.
- Package and label products for shipping.
- Operate forklifts or other machinery to assist with loading and unloading.
- Always follow proper safety procedures.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
