What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse-Day Repack position at Mitchell Companies?
Position: Repack Personnel
Reports to: Warehouse Manager
Basic Purpose: As Repack Personnel, your basic job standard is to organize, repack, log and put-away good product while disposing of non-sellable product.
Basic Duties:
- Confirm and separate breakage product from both warehouse and delivery previous day placement on breakage carts or returns.
- Stack like product together, pull repack boxes, glue the repack boxes and build new packaging per the standard.
- Repack all sellable product and put away to correct pick locations.
- Confirm and dispose of any out-of-date product sitting on shelves within the repack room.
- Ensure main warehouse is neat and clean in appearance and run scrubber daily, per management schedule.
- Maintain documentation for logging all repack and turn into inventory specialist at the end of each day.
Basic Requirements:
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and walk for extended period of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- High School diploma or equivalent
