WAREHOUSE LOADER NIGHT SHIFT JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Summary:
This is a Union position with Starting Pay $17.55/Hr.
This is a 4-day work week, union warehouse position with the best-in-class health benefits and is the starting point for a lucrative career in the beer industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scanning, picking, packing, and wrapping products to pallets/carts for outbound shipments to the market. You will be utilizing an electric pallet jack to move the product throughout the warehouse.
The products will be selected and placed on pallets to minimize the potential for breakage. As a 4-day work week position, it requires the person to work until the orders are completed and may exceed regular hours, requiring paid overtime with limited notice. The work takes place in everyday warehouse environments where the temperature is controlled.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull orders as directed by pick system.
- Scan, pick, pack and wrap product to a pallet or delivery cart.
- Ensure that all products are handled and stacked safely and securely to prevent damage.
- Ensure accuracy of product through systematic quality controls.
- Stage pallet or cart in designated area for loading process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate with warehouse staff and truck drivers to coordinate loading and unloading processes.
- Comply with all OSHA and MSDS Standards
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Two to five years of similar work experience.
- Excellent communication skills using English to read, write, and speak.
- You must be a self-starter and not need constant direction.
- Ability to do basic math.
- You must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, twist, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly, consistently.
- Ability to do repetitive work consistently for 10–14-hour shifts.
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
- Forklift certification a plus
- High School diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
