MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

This is a professional nursing/medical assistant position that serves as a resource to provide quality patient care and is a patient advocate. The Specialty Clinic LPN/CMA provides outpatient care to outreach clinics, dermatology, general surgery clinic and podiatry clinic as directed and schedules surgeries as necessary. Specialty Clinic LPN/CMA provides care to various specialties as requested in the Specialty Clinic. Must have knowledge of the surgical process and normal postoperative courses of surgical patients. Assists with surgical procedures in the clinic.
Position:
LPN starts at $20.38 increases with experience.

- Days
- Monday-Friday
- Saturday Derm rotation through June.
LPN starts at $20.38 increases with experience.
Position Qualifications
- Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required
- Graduate of an approved school for medical assistants, certification as a medical assistant is required.
- Graduate of an approved school for Licensed Practical Nurses preferred and licensed in Iowa is required for LPN role.
- Experience:
- 3-year clinical experience preferred.
- Ideal candidate will have knowledge of the surgical process and normal postoperative courses of surgical patients.
- Preauthorization experience is preferred.
