Position Summary
Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems has an opening for a full-time nightshift RN Charge Nurse in our Emergency Room department. This position is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice, and is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her patients in the Emergency Department. They communicate with the physician about the changes in the patient’s clinical condition including results of the diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is capable of responding quickly and accurately to changes in the condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality. 12 hour shifts, 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, every 3rd weekend and rotating holiday schedule. Sign on bonus available for full-time positions, plus a night shift differential, weekend shift differential and extra shift incentive pay. Applicant may also be eligible for Student Loan Forgiveness with a 3 year commitment. Position may require cross-training to Acute Nursing.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
