MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. About The Job:
The position will lead emergency preparedness planning for MCRHC. The Emergency Preparedness Coordinator will work collaboratively with the public health department and the Mitchell County EMA Coordinator. Activities include, assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating activities for hospital response to all hazard emergencies. These activities include education, communication, and collaborative efforts to prepare for an all hazard response to emergencies, infectious disease outbreaks. The EPC will also assist in coordinating needs assessments, plan development, staff development and training, surveillance and notification, and response efforts for disease outbreaks or all hazard events. The EPC is the liaison to outside agencies that collaborate with the organization.
Shifts Needed:
Monday-Friday.
This is a part time which will work approximately 4 hours a week/8 hour in a 2-week period. Flexibility is needed for potential evenings as needed.

What We Need from You:
- Education: Associates degree in healthcare, emergency management or business required. Bachelor's degree preferred, but will also consider commensurate experience.
- Experience: Current hospital experience in clinical or non-clinical areas preferred. Experience with emergency preparedness and community relationships preferred. Proven ability to utilize multiple software programs to track and monitor program development, program management and communication. Previous experience with grant funding preferred.
