Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.

About The Job:
Provides nursing care to patients and assists in caring for patients with routine complex medical problems through the use of the nursing process, under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The Position: 0.9 FTE 72 hours in a 2 week pay period. |
The salary: Starts at $21.31 increases with experience
Shift: Sunday-Saturday (rotating) 7P-7A, every 3rd weekend, every 3rd holiday
Position Qualifications:
- Education:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current LPN license in the State of Iowa.
- Current IV Therapy Certification or willing to obtain within 1 year of hire.
- Experience:
- Previous acute care experience is preferred.
- Special Skills & Aptitudes:
- Demonstrates ability and knowledge in bedside nursing skills and administration of medications.
- Demonstrates communication skills and promotes good working relationships with co-workers.
- Ability to recognize personal learning needs and follows through to gain new competencies.
- Current certification in BLS/CPR for Health Care Provider Certification.
- Must have basic computer skills.
