Mitchell Grocery Corporation is looking for a qualified, highly motivated individual to fill the position of Meat Counselor in the Northwest Alabama/Northeast Mississippi Area. Mitchell Grocery is a full-service grocery distribution center in Albertville, AL, serving customers throughout the Southeastern United States. A family-owned business for over 75 years, Mitchell takes pride in treating employees like family. The successful candidate will maintain contact with our customers in their assigned areas. Good customer service skills and a strong background in meat retail are essential. The Meat Counselor will serve our customers as advisors of all things relating to the meat industry, including, but not limited to, merchandising, new store development, and product selection, as well as acting as the main liaison between Mitchell and its customers. You must have retail meat merchandising experience. Mitchell is a strong, growing company that offers a solid career for talented individuals familiar with the grocery industry. Pay is based on experience.
