Mitchell Grocery is looking for a Produce Counselor to work territories in in northeast Alabama and parts of Georgia. Mitchell Grocery is a full-service grocery distribution center located in Albertville, AL that serves customers throughout the Southeastern United States. A family-owned business for over 75 years, Mitchell takes pride in treating employees like family. The successful candidate will make planned store calls to support the growth of profitable sales with our customers in their assigned areas. Good customer service skills are essential as well as a strong background in produce retail. The Produce Counselor will serve our customers as advisors of all things relating to produce including, but not limited to merchandising, new store development, product selection, department financial and operating statements as well as acting as the main liaison between Mitchell and its customers.
