To qualify for this role, you must possess an NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact license. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is preferred but an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree is required. You should hold current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA). Additionally, certifications in NIHSS and Telemetry are advantageous. Prior experience as a registered nurse in a major acute care hospital setting, specifically working in MS/Tele units, is mandatory. You should demonstrate a strong background in MS/Tele and have completed CEU Contact Stroke 4 Hours and have skills in Medication Administration and Patient Assessment.
