Description:
The Account Executive - Outside Sales will play a key role in driving sales growth for a leading IT infrastructure service provider specializing in storage solutions. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, engaging with new and existing clients, and providing consultative advice on hardware and networking products. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in IT infrastructure, particularly in storage and networking, and will be responsible for building long-term client relationships.
Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue goals and expand the customer base.
Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities in the IT hardware and networking industry.
Provide consultative solutions tailored to client needs, focusing on storage and networking infrastructure.
Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including IT managers, network engineers, and procurement professionals.
Partner with internal teams, including network engineers and technical support, to ensure seamless solution delivery and client satisfaction.
Market & Industry Engagement:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position offerings effectively.
Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking activities to generate leads and increase brand visibility.
Reporting & Communication:
Prepare and present sales proposals, reports, and forecasts to management.
Maintain accurate records in CRM software and other sales tools.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in professional sales within a hardware or networking company (e.g., Dell, Cisco, Sirius, Worldwide Technologies).
Demonstrated success in selling IT infrastructure solutions, particularly storage and networking products.
Strong understanding of MDF (main distribution frame) networking.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
Education:
Bachelor s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
Compensation:
Pay range: $105k-150k/year
