Description:
* We are seeking an experienced Broadcasting Network Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance network systems supporting enterprise broadcasting operations.
* The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in network architecture, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure seamless connectivity and high availability of services.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, procure, design, configure, and commission network infrastructures for monitoring and incident management.
* Develop and maintain network documentation, ensuring compliance with operational policies.
* Analyze and monitor network infrastructure to optimize system performance and reliability.
* Troubleshoot network issues, implementing effective resolutions to improve performance.
* Oversee system performance, recommending and executing necessary updates, enhancements, and preventive maintenance.
* Collaborate with external service providers and network carriers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
* Develop and implement risk management strategies for high-availability network operations.
* Provide 24/7 support for network services and infrastructure.
* Research and implement emerging networking technologies to enhance performance.
* Assist leadership with strategic and tactical network planning and budget development.
* Act as an escalation point and mentor for technical teams.
Required Skills:
* Minimum 8 years of experience managing mission-critical network environments in a high-availability setting.
* Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
* In-depth understanding of network architecture, including LAN/WAN and enterprise connectivity solutions.
* Proficiency in network hardware configuration, including routers, switches, firewalls, and security gateways.
* Advanced knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
* Experience with network monitoring tools and traffic management technologies.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving complex network issues.
Desired Skills:
* Expertise in multicast networking and media content delivery.
* Hands-on experience with video and audio over IP technologies.
* Knowledge of network security practices, including firewall management and intrusion detection.
* Familiarity with virtualization platforms and remote access solutions.
* Experience with IT service management frameworks and best practices.
* Industry certifications such as CCNP or equivalent preferred.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $112000K-$160000K
