Description
- The Business Analyst II will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing operational processes while utilizing various systems to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and analysis for residential and small commercial energy customers. This role primarily focuses on, but is not limited to, remittance processing, incentive fulfillment, and vendor feedback functions within operations.
- Ability to identify, document, and assist in the development of operational processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address process exceptions and inefficiencies.
- Experience in root cause analysis and implementation of process improvements.
- Capability to interpret complex data and effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to compliance with business requirements and regulatory policies.
- Ability to generate and analyze reports to drive performance improvements.
- Exceptional coordination and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to assess the broader impact of tasks and develop proactive solutions.
- Experience in conducting cost-benefit and efficiency analyses for process enhancements.
- Proficiency in remittance processing and exception resolution.
- Vendor management experience, particularly in addressing fulfillment concerns.
- Ability to review and take action based on daily operational reports.
- Bachelor's degree preferred (equivalent work experience may substitute).
- Strong business performance and analytics skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive, accountable, and customer-focused approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with SQL is a plus.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms is a plus.
