Description:
The Account Executive will play a critical role in developing and executing sales strategies for professional services and solutions within the Data Center Industry. This role focuses on Data Center Migration, Relocation, Consolidation, and Optimization while leveraging strong industry relationships and a consultative sales approach to drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of exceeding sales goals, closing enterprise deals, and building long-term client relationships in the data center transformation space.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
Develop and execute sales strategies to expand client base and revenue streams.
Sell professional services related to data center migration, consolidation, and cloud readiness.
Identify and engage key decision-makers, including C-level executives, to present compelling business solutions.
Utilize a consultative selling approach to position data center infrastructure solutions, including inventory management, application portfolio assessment, and migration planning.
Drive demand-generation initiatives, including industry networking events, technology forums, and strategic marketing collaborations.
Maintain deep knowledge of industry trends, competitor strategies, and emerging data center solutions.
Client & Partner Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships within the data center, colocation, and REIT industries.
Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and price tailored client solutions.
Stay informed on technology partner solutions and leverage them to enhance client offerings.
Qualifications:
5 years of technology sales experience, with a strong focus on professional or consulting services in data center transformation.
Proven success in direct sales and business development within data center, colocation, or REIT sectors.
Extensive network of industry relationships and a strong professional Rolodex.
Deep understanding of virtual and physical data center migrations.
Track record of exceeding sales targets and developing long-term client partnerships.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Compensation:
Base Salary: $150K - $160K per year
