Description
- The ETL Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL pipelines to support data warehousing and analytics solutions.
- This role requires strong technical expertise in ETL platforms, data warehousing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate with business users to gather and refine requirements.
- The ideal candidate will focus on creating scalable, high-performance systems that enable rapid data analytics and insights across the organization.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and developing ETL pipelines using leading ETL platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles, ETL processing, and dimensional data modeling.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and database design, with experience working on large data volumes.
- Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders to gather requirements and manage project scope.
- Proficiency in scripting within Linux/UNIX environments.
- Experience working with large-scale data environments, including distributed and big-data technologies.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with implementing large-scale database and data warehousing solutions (e.g., 20 TB environments).
- Familiarity with optimization techniques such as table partitioning and sharding.
- Knowledge of visualization and reporting tools like Tableau, QlikSense, or similar platforms.
