Description
We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in network security, firewall management, and dynamic routing configurations. The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting network security policies and configurations.
Responsibilities
Manage, design, implement, and deploy network security solutions, including firewall configurations.
Configure and troubleshoot dynamic routing protocols.
Conduct packet-level analysis to diagnose and optimize network performance.
Develop and manage security rules, including network address translation (NAT) configurations.
Review firewall logs and network flow data using observability platforms, with the ability to create observability dashboards as a plus.
Collaborate with security and network teams to enhance and maintain a secure networking environment.
Required Skills
Experience in network security, firewall management, and policy enforcement.
Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting dynamic routing.
Strong understanding of network packet analysis for troubleshooting and optimization.
Knowledge of security rule design and network address translation (NAT).
Experience with network observability tools for log and flow analysis.
At least one relevant network security certification.
Desired Skills
Proficiency in automation and scripting using Python or shell scripting.
Working knowledge of cloud-based networking environments.
