Title: Powerbuilder Developer

Description
We are seeking an experienced Application Developer - Legacy Systems to support, enhance, and develop internal systems and integration processes. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and extending existing systems, performing hands-on development, testing and deployment, and participating in solution design discussions. The ideal candidate is customer-focused and capable of working independently to ensure timely and accurate delivery of development and technical support tasks.
Responsibilities
Support and enhance internal clinical and data integration processes
Design and develop applications based on evolving business needs
Collaborate in solution design and optimization reviews
Conduct unit testing and contribute to automation of regression testing scenarios
Use modern deployment and build automation tools
Investigate, analyze, and resolve application issues
Monitor system performance and proactively identify improvements
Provide technical support via remote tools, phone, or email
Document processes and technical rules in knowledge management platforms
Contribute to experimentation and prototyping of new tools and solution patterns
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and adhere to internal IT standards
Flexibility to adjust work schedules when needed
Required Skills
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in application development with legacy systems platforms
Proficiency in structured and object-oriented programming languages
Strong skills in relational database management and query languages
Working knowledge of modern scripting, integration platforms, and APIs
Experience with business process improvement, problem resolution, and root cause analysis
Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools for performance and deployment
Desired Skills
Exposure to large-scale, multi-location IT environments
Hands-on experience with continuous integration and delivery tools
Experience documenting workflows and processes in collaboration tools
