Description
- The Data Integration Developer is responsible for maintaining data integration platforms and supporting data pipeline solutions.
- This role involves developing, configuring, and managing data transformations while ensuring performance optimization and troubleshooting issues.
- The ideal candidate has experience in data modeling, workflow automation, and system integration.
- Install, configure, and maintain data integration platforms and repositories.
- Manage user roles and permissions for secure data access.
- Develop and maintain data sources, targets, and transformation workflows.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data integration jobs to ensure system efficiency.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies for data repositories.
- Optimize performance through best practices and tuning techniques.
- Deploy code across development, testing, and production environments.
- Design and implement data modeling techniques for performance efficiency.
- Manage structured and semi-structured data extraction and transformation.
- Support business and functional teams with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- Ensure adherence to coding best practices and data integration standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience in data integration development, including workflow automation, transformation, and administration.
- Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and schema design.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying, scripting, and optimization.
- Knowledge of best practices for naming conventions and job structuring.
- Experience working with large-scale data warehouses.
- Familiarity with integrating external data sources, including APIs.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for working in a team-oriented environment.
- Experience with connecting data platforms to external APIs.
- Exposure to semi-structured data formats such as JSON.
- Understanding of cloud-based data storage and integration solutions.
