Job Summary :
Provides services to children, adolescents and their families using various social work methods, including individual, group and family therapy. These functions are performed under general supervision, necessitating the ability to exercise independent and sound judgment.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Assesses the social and emotional needs of children, adolescents and families involved
- Develops and implements treatment planning and direct clinical services to clients using modalities most appropriate to clients' needs following regulatory agencies guidelines.
- Coordinates social work services and client referrals between the program and other agencies providing an array of services.
- Updates and maintains case records
- Remains available for crisis intervention as the need arises, Work with a multidisciplinary team.
- Performs other related duties, as required.
