Description:
* We are seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to serve as a key liaison between business units and technical teams.
* This role involves eliciting, analyzing, and translating business needs into detailed functional specifications and documentation that supports quality software delivery.
* You ll work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve processes, design systems, and guide project activities throughout the development lifecycle.
* The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis, system modeling, software improvement, and stakeholder communication within an Agile or hybrid development environment.
Required Skills:
* Ability to gather, analyze, and document complex business requirements
* Proficient in developing user stories aligned with Agile principles
* Experience with tools for process modeling, UI design, and data analysis
* Strong knowledge of systems development life cycles including Agile and Waterfall
* Skilled in using data querying tools for reporting and business analysis
* Experience creating functional documentation (specs, release notes, guides)
* Ability to design workflows and assist in system enhancements
* Comfortable working across teams to troubleshoot and resolve system issues
* Proven communication and interpersonal skills across all organizational levels
* Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously
* Understanding of how to implement and support commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions
Desired Skills:
* Familiarity with financial systems or banking environments
* Experience leading JAD (Joint Application Design) sessions
* Previous involvement in software deployment or version upgrades
* Background in mentoring or supporting junior analysts
* Knowledge of UI mockup tools, Excel modeling, and data migration planning
Compensation:
Pay Range: $68.60-$98.00 Per Hr
