Description
The Supervisor for the Homefinding Division oversees the evaluation of applicants and leads the team responsible for ensuring the effective and timely certification of foster homes. This role involves collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to promote the safety and well-being of children within the organization’s care.
Key responsibilities include staff supervision, assessment of foster home certifications, and the development of strategies to enhance foster parent recruitment and retention. Additional duties involve compliance monitoring, training support, and data management.
Required Skills
Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in homefinding or similar areas of practice.
Strong interpersonal and clinical assessment abilities.
Experience managing teams in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency with general computer systems and office productivity software, including spreadsheets.
Desired Skills
Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
Proven ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
