Title: Technical Architect
Location: Southeastern Region (Temp to Hire)
Description
The Technical Architect will work closely with senior IT and business leadership to design and develop enterprise-level solutions that align with the company’s strategic roadmap. This role involves collaborating with development teams, evaluating new technologies, and leading initial stages of software development projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution architecture, cloud technologies, and enterprise system design.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior IT and business managers to design systems that align with the company’s strategic objectives.
Work with development teams to design, support, and contribute to system development for various business units.
Participate in enterprise architecture discussions, aligning future technology strategies with business goals.
Conduct Proof-of-Concept (PoC) evaluations for new software, platforms, and capabilities.
Lead teams through the initial stages of development programs, providing technical guidance and support.
Required Skills & Experience
8 years of progressively responsible experience in technical architecture, solution design, or enterprise application development.
Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
Hands-on experience in hybrid environments involving On-Premises, Cloud, and SaaS applications.
Strong understanding of cloud-native solutions, including API Gateway, Kubernetes, serverless computing, and cloud data platforms.
Experience with NoSQL databases, messaging platforms, DevOps methodologies, and infrastructure as code.
Familiarity with enterprise integration, including third-party API connections.
Ability to analyze and optimize application performance.
Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Desired Skills
Experience with cloud migration strategies and organizational change management.
Hands-on experience with AWS services, including Lambda and EKS.
Familiarity with Atlassian tools and Agile methodologies.
