Responsibilities
Configure and optimize WAF environments to enhance security and prevent application-layer threats.
Work with cloud-based environments, including container services, load balancing, security groups, and access controls.
Develop and maintain security policies, leveraging scripting and automation to improve protection and response capabilities.
Implement security controls at the application layer to prevent threats and vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure secure deployment of applications.
Utilize scripting and automation tools to enhance security operations.
Required Skills
Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF) customization, configuration, and security optimization.
Hands-on experience with cloud computing environments, including containerized services, load balancing, and security configurations.
Proficiency in scripting and pattern matching using languages such as Python and Regular Expressions (RegEx).
Strong understanding of application-layer security principles and best practices.
Desired Skills
Experience with modern application development frameworks.
Familiarity with scripting and automation tools for security policy management.
